Christine Campbell is a seasoned Manager and professional Buyer with over 25 years experience in public procurement. Christine is a member in good standing with the National Institute of Public Procurement, the Ontario Public Buyers Association and the Purchasing Management Association of Canada. She holds two professional designations, C.P.P.O, Certified Professional Public Purchaser, from the National Institute of Public Procurement and a CSCMP, Certified Supply Chain Management Professional from the Purchasing Management Association of Canada.
Christine has been a Manager of Purchasing for the Town of Markham and the Town of Halton Hills. She has also been a team leader at the City of Mississauga and analyst at the Region of Peel and the Region of Halton.
Christine specializes in public procurement within Construction, Ethics, Legal Issues, Negotiation, Professional Services, Project Management, Protests and Disputes, Risk Management Insurance & Bonding, Software Licenses, Sole Source Procurements, Solicitations.
Her current training experience includes her certification as an instructor for the National Institute of Government Purchasing in Contract Administration, as well as for the Association of Municipal Managers and Clerks of Ontario (AMCTO) in nine zones. This includes assisting municipalities throughout Ontario on how to develop and incorporate good purchasing policies within their municipalities. She has also been trained by The Ontario Public Buyers Association in Introduction to Public Procurement, co-operative purchasing and Risk Management.
Christine is married and has a son and daughter and four grandchildren. Her interests are her grandchildren, gardening and golfing.
