Hespeler Minor Softball Association
HMSA gives children from ages three to twenty the opportunity to meet new friends and play softball every spring. Their mission is to “promote and encourage good citizenship among the players” and which is achieved by the help of selfless volunteers, parents and coaches. Cambridge Solutions Inc. has been a sponsor since 2001. Gerald Ford, the President, has been a member on the board of directors, an equipment manager, and contributed to updating the HMSA website. He was also an active member on the board of directors and has been a dedicated coach every year.
Laubach Literacy Ontario
Cambridge Solutions Inc. has donated it’s time and resources to Laubach Literacy. Laubach Literacy is an organization that helps adults become literate, further increasing their standard of living and that of their children. Laubach also tutors in writing and arithmetic and gives adults the resources they need to reach their goals. Mr. Ford was a facilitator for a conference and He created an ideal program for individuals who want to learn more about both the internet and computer literacy. This project supported the tutor and student team to get the most out of the Alpha Route on-line learning environment and other computer-base instructional material.
Conestoga College Award
Cambridge Solutions Inc. co-sponsors the award "Information Systems" as part of the Materials and Operations Management program at Conestoga College.
