Karen Drabyk

Busines Analyst

Feb 2006 - Jul 2010

Karen was our "rock" at CSI and worked with us for several years. She was always willing to help out where required and delivered excellent customer service. The first major project that Karen helped with was assisting Jerry with Denso Manufacturing's outsourced purchasing services during Denso's Guelph construction and startup phase.

The next time Karen came to work with us she was the team leader working with Deb Cripps. Their job was to source and purchase furniture and equipment for three Upper Grand District School Board schools. She also helped to write the technical specifications for the Request for Proposal (RFP) for Cafeteria services for two schools.

Next time you see Karen ask her about the Open Text auction. This is where the team had to consolidate surplus goods that were stored in several warehouses. We had to do a complete inventory in a very cramped space and ensure that everything was sold or disposed of properly during a very tight time frame and with limited resources. Creativity and work ethic were part of the everyday expectation and Karen was our shining example.

Her focus during her most recent time spent with the CSI team was working on two Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations. The first one involved five (5) branches across Canada upgrading the company from Accpac for DOS to Infor's SX Enterprise. The second was a much larger project. Karen was responsible for the training and scope of work documentation for fifteen (15) branches located in several US States. With Karen's help the staff of Proveer Sign and Graphics were able to transition relatively smoothly from one software package to the next.

Karen proved to be so valuable to our customer (Proveer) that she was offered and accepted a full time role with them as their Business Analyst/Application Support.
