Cam has spent the past 35 years working and volunteering in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.
Twenty-six of those years were spent at Kaufman Footwear Division of W.H.K. Inc. where he was the Cost Accounting Manager responsible for establishing material, and labour cost standards. Establish company overhead standards using activity based costing methods. Established profits by product groups. Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly variance and profit reports. Design and implement manufacturing reporting systems. Research, select and implement ERP System.
Seven years were spent as a Business Consultant. (Manufacturing Cost Analyst and Production Planning Manager).
For two years Cam was the General Manager of Art of Time Ltd., a Subsidiary of Bulova Corporation, New York USA. At his last position he was President and CEO of Art of Time Ltd. (Majority Owner).
Cam is fluent in Italian. He is currently an active member of APICS – The Association for Operations Management providing the Ontario Grand Valley Chapter with his leadership qualities since 1978. Cam also sat on the Program Advisory Committee of Conestoga College for 25 years. He was a Project Business Consultant for Junior Achievement in Kitchener-Waterloo for 8 years.
Cam’s understanding of manufacturing processes, cost accounting, and activity based costing, production planning, inventory management, ERP systems and lean manufacturing concepts have provided him with the skills of a Manufacturing Operations Analyst. Able to optimize operational results by studying current operations, identifying process improvement opportunities, developing analytical models and supporting improvement programs.
